HAIRCUTS, FARM ANIMALS, AND CLASSIC CARS
WILL BE PART OF TASTE OF THE BAY
Visitors to the Taste of the Bay festival February 24 will be able to get a haircut, visit a petting zoo, take a look at a Classic Car Show and enjoy music by the Road Kings and the Mosquito Heads. A belly dancer, arts and crafts displays, and a bounce house will be part of the entertainment.
The event from 11 am to 6 pm, sponsored by Cutler Bay Business Association at Palmetto Bay Village Center, 18001 Old Cutler Road, in Palmetto Bay, will highlight local restaurants ranging from Chinese to pizza to chicken wings to ice cream and chocolates.
The car show will award prizes to the car club with the most participants, in addition to a People’s Choice Award and one for the best overall car. In addition to the live music from two local bands, DJ Johnny 5 will be on duty. A bounce house by Jumparoo and playground equipment for children by My Gym will appeal to the younger set.
Tickets to the family-oriented event are free if picked up at participating restaurants such as Stir Moon, Steve’s Pizza, Sal’s Italian Restaurant, Buffalo Wild Wings, Rodbenders, or The Butcher Shop. Tickets at the gate will be $5 each.

"Taste of the Bay" is a family-oriented festival sponsored by Cutler Bay Business Association to help build a profile for the community. The February 24 event, from 11 am to 6 pm, will feature a classic car show, pony rides, a petting zoo, live music, a children's art contest, arts and crafts and food from 15+ local eateries.
